Located
at the southern-most tip of Malaysia, Lat. 01
23 85 N Long. 104 06 27 E, the marina is at
the gateway to what is now known as the Aseanarean
region which is also Asia's one and only up-river
marina. Boat owners and sailing enthusiasts
alike will find it easy navigating here as the
Sebana River is known for its calm water.
Power
boats and luxury yachts should have no problems
getting to the marina as its basin has been
excavated to the depth of three to six meters
to allow for easy passage. In contrast to the
traditional yacht clubs, Sebana Cove Marina
can accommodate yachts of any size at its main
basin measures 400 by 500 meters.
The
marina also claims to be the first in the Asian
region to provide berthing facilities for luxury
yachts. Fashioned after the Century Cove Marina
in Gold Coast, Australia, it has 100 wet berths,
20 dry storage spaces, 5 berths for mega yachts
and a clubhouse. Sebana Cove Marina is nothing
short of being a modern mariners' rendezvous.
